What to include on a South African invoice
- Business details — trading name, address, email and phone.
- VAT number — where your business is registered for VAT.
- Customer details — name and address of the person or company being billed.
- Invoice number — a unique, sequential reference.
- Invoice date and due date — when it was issued and when payment is expected.
- Description, quantity and unit price for each item or service.
- Subtotal, VAT amount and total in Rand.
- Payment information — bank details and the reference the customer should use.
